Earlier today, I found an injured stray kitty who was wet from the rain, terrified, and clearly in pain. His back legs were not working, but he was alert and looking for help. With the help of my sister and her boyfriend, I managed to get him into a cat carrier and rushed him to the emergency vet. He is currently undergoing tests so the vets can develop a treatment plan, but the costs are quickly rising. I know times are hard for so many people right now, but I couldn’t bring myself to surrender him to an already overcrowded shelter, where he would most likely be put down. Every living being deserves care, and every dollar will help get this kitty well again and find him a loving home.
