Jan 8, 2026 - Earlier today, I found a sweet gray female cat dragging herself in the middle of the road after being hit by a car. She was injured, scared, and in obvious pain — yet despite everything, she was gentle, trusting, and even purred when held.

I rushed her to the emergency vet, and she has a severe fracture to her right femur and an infected spay incision. The injury is serious and cannot heal on its own. The veterinarian explained that orthopedic surgery is urgently needed as it is time-sensitive and delaying too long risks malunion, which could mean she won’t be able to save her leg.

Even while hurt, she seeks comfort and affection. She wants to live.

The estimated cost for surgery, hospitalization, medications and follow-up care is $5,000, which is more than I can manage alone. I couldn’t walk away and leave her suffering, so I’m asking for help.

This fundraiser is to cover the cost of her surgery and medical care so she can live pain-free.

Once she has recovered, I am committed to finding her a loving forever home or working with a reputable rescue to help with adoption. My goal is to see her healed, safe, and living the life she deserves.
