HELP SAVE THIS SWEET GIRL FROM PARVO!

Hi, my name is Morgan Connell, and I urgently need your help to save this sweet, emaciated pit mix fighting for her life. We are calling her Kaia!

Yesterday at 4:30 PM, I met a compassionate woman at Platz Animal Hospital who had found this starving, neglected dog. She has no microchip and no one to claim her. This woman had no car—she carried this weak dog for miles on foot, first to the vet and then to the police station in Grosse Pointe Park. When she showed up, animal control turned her away because a “resident found her” and Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society would not take her.

With nowhere else to turn, I offered to drive them home. But that night, it was clear the dog’s condition was worsening—she wasn't eating or drinking. I picked her up and rushed her to MedVet Commerce, where she was diagnosed with Parvo.

The good news: the vets believe she has a strong chance of survival with proper treatment. The bad news: the cost of her emergency care has already reached $3,300, and with ongoing hospitalization, it could climb to $4,500 - $6,000.

This sweet girl has already been through so much, and she deserves a fighting chance. I can’t do this alone—I urgently need your help to cover her medical expenses and give her the care she needs.
