HELP SAVE ALLGOOD CAFE

THANKS! From every one of us, to every one of you, we really THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Between this goFundMe you have contributed to, and the Facebook ‘staff’ fund-raiser we started a week or two later, we have been able to pay our utilities, and then our sales and liquor taxes on time. Also each staff member picked up a check of their share of these funds you folks have been generously contributed so far. That’s some good news as we await the government loans and opening of our business as soon as possible. We miss each one of you, as well as each other, and can’t wait to serve you again and see your smiling faces. In the meanwhile, we can still use some HELP, please, if you can. AllGood Cafe was founded in 2000 (when tumbleweeds were blowing down Main Street) and has been a part of the Deep Ellum community for 20 years now, and want to continue. In order to do that we need your HELP! We understand that most of our friends are under the same situation as us and can’t do more than give our Love and support and be the first in line when we open the doors. That is good enough for us. First margarita is one us.
But AllGood Cafe is going to need a lot of HELP. The doors are closed and the bills are in the mail. The staff needs to pay their rent and need to eat for the next month or two. We’ve been filing unemployment and SBA Disaster loans and with this new Congress bill, we don’t know who will get what or when. What the AllGood Cafe does need is some immediate contributions to keep the boat afloat until either these government loans come thru or the AllGood Cafe can open again and serve our famous favorites to you and the whole town.
AllGood Cafe doesn’t just have the “World’s Best” Chicken-Fried Steak and Best Breakfast and Best Grilled Cheese and all of your other favorites. AllGood Cafe also is about the Good Music in the air and the Good People in the dining room, both servers and customers. It’s a dynamic going on at the AllGood Cafe that’s not matched at very many places. It’s a crossroads of the neighborhood, where you know you’re going to see somebody you know, maybe meet somebody new, and while you’re there - you’re gonna find something out, either something that happened or that is happening … it’s the crossroads of the neighborhood. And it happens every day, and on the weekends for Brunch, and at night when we have our bands and their followers … it’s a special thing we have, please don’t let it slip away. Let’s celebrate our 20th Anniversary of AllGood Cafe this August.
Deep Ellum has gone thru a handful of up-and-down cycles, and some thought this one was for good … up. Well, guess what. Here we go again. Another cycle. Wheel turns.
