ALL THE PROBLEMS IN THIS WORLD is an owner managed small business established online in May 2020. In April 2021 I opened a physical store located in Berlin-Kreuzberg with the ultimate goal to import an exciting, eclectic selection of English language indie, small press & self-published fantasy roleplaying games, graphic novels, comic books, artist books and fantasy music, which are hard to find on the EU continent!

I took a 30.000€ loan to start my business and invested about the same personally over the past years. I wrote a business and a financial plan, and had accountants and consulters doublecheck it, and I reached the goals I had set up, BUT nobody could know what was coming. - The big issue is the inflation, and the rising costs of living in Berlin as a father of two, anno 2026. While the profit the store generates with each sale remained the same since before lockdown. Since last summer I haven’t been able to pay all bills, and all resources are now exhausted. It became impossible for me to make enough profit with ATPITW, but ATPITW is my only income.

On top of just saving ATPITW, with your donations, I would also finally be able to to finally access the store’s untouched potential for community, and turn this crisis into something amazing! Because the community around the store is A) pretty big, with customers in Berlin and all over Europe, B) very passionate, and c) has always been really enthusiastic about what ATPITW does.

With the money generated here I would be able to cover open bills, and with the help of the Fan Club (which is already being set up by a bunch of enthusiasts) I could finally organize monthly RPG workshops (online and physical) incl. special guests, drink and draw sessions, artist talks, and many other events, from art shows to more fantasy music events, collaborations with publishers, publishing print and music... But step by step, and in order to grow into a place for the community to meet online and in person!

Besides the Gofundme campaign, there will be a crowdfunding party at Keith Bar on March 27th, the monthly Fan Club membership contributions will be used for public and Fan Club only events, tiers, etc. and the first events will start already in April!
