Betty Gray has lived and worked in South Berkeley for over 30 years. She is a fixture of the community, and she needs our support!

Alice's Relaxing Bath and Gift Shop is a healing, afro-centric space that sells candles, bath bombs, incense, gift baskets, soaps, handmade African art, and more. The business also offers spiritual readings. I run the gift shop independently, make most of the art, and mix most of the bath products I sell. I enjoy taking the time to connect with my customers and meeting their needs with my products. The shop is quite tiny, making it easy for me to get to know every customer and let them know they are welcome and belong here.

Alice's Relaxing Bath is a place where people come and share what's going on in their world and leave feeling better than when they came in. Just knowing that I am able to be a spiritual support and service through conversations and products is a spiritual high and seeing folks feel better is my joy. With your help, I just want to continue doing this work.
