Help Save Ace the Abandoned Husky
Donation protected
On April 16th, a 2-year-old husky (Ace) was abandoned and left running loose in the street near JoJo’s Pet Club in Greenpoint. Ace’s microchip was linked to the Animal Care Center (ACC). His owners ignored our attempts to connect and we quickly realized he was abandoned. We also learned that he had been dumped previously by the same family. At this point, Ace is traumatized and has been taken to ACC where he is safe, but time is running out for Ace.
We are URGENTLY raising funds to have Ace neutered and formally trained in a board & training program. We have identified a group on Long Island called K9key Dog School to help Ace. In addition, he needs to be seen by a vet ASAP, as he requires a thorough medical exam and needs to be neutered.
Medical and training expenses to give Ace a second chance are estimated to cost $6,000.
We truly believe that by providing Ace with a fresh start he will be a great candidate for a forever family. To say he is disoriented and panicked right now is an understatement.
Please help us reach this goal. If you’re unable to donate, please share this link with your network to support this sweet, loving boy.
Dogs who are abandoned and abused like Ace need a lot of help and support to be rehabilitated. It's not Ace’s fault he was abandoned, neglected and abused. We know he'll make a wonderful family member one day - and would like to be able to help provide him with that opportunity.
Please donate and share - let’s do this for Ace! ❤️
