AC is my 6-month-old cat, and he means everything to me and his brother DC. They are outdoor cats who do everything together, and AC is especially playful, loving, and so fluffy. It breaks my heart to see him in pain, especially at such a young age.

Recently, AC was shot by a neighbor, and the bullet shattered his leg past the point of fixing. The only way to save him is an urgent amputation surgery. If we can't raise the funds soon, the final option may be to put him down, which is something I desperately want to avoid. AC is currently on antibiotics, but the vet said the surgery needs to happen as soon as possible to prevent infection and give him the best chance at recovery.
