Help Save Abigael’s Life – Urgent Medical Treatment for AVM

My beloved cousin, Abigael Aranas, 27 years old in the Philippines, has been diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM)—a rare and life-threatening condition where tangled blood vessels disrupt normal blood flow between her arteries and veins. This puts her at constant risk of rupture, stroke, or even sudden death.

Her doctors have advised Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery, a crucial treatment that can save her life. However, the cost is overwhelming—₱450,000 (€7,275), an amount far beyond what her struggling family can afford.

When Abigael was first rushed to the hospital, my family did everything we could to cover the ICU expenses and ongoing medication to help stabilize her condition. But this is only temporary—the definitive treatment must be done as soon as possible to prevent another life-threatening emergency.

Abigael grew up in a broken family, without a father. Her mother, now a senior citizen who suffered a mild stroke, is unable to work. Her only sibling is also undergoing medical treatment. With no enough financial support from insurance or her employer, we have exhausted every means available, but the amount needed is simply beyond our reach.
