Help Save Abbey de Lange
Donation protected
On a seemingly ordinary Thursday afternoon in August 2024 in Christmas Rock, 10-year-old Abigail de Lange's life was irrevocably altered by a tragic accident. While walking home from a local playground, a delivery truck inadvertently snagged a sagging telephone line, causing the connected pole to collapse and strike Abigail on the back of her head. This unforeseen event has left her with severe head trauma, rendering her immobile and under intensive care at Life Beacon Bay Hospital.
The de Lange family, unprepared for such a catastrophe and without medical insurance, has already made a substantial down payment of R100,000 towards Abigail's emergency care. However, the mounting medical expenses far exceed their financial capacity.
Despite the overwhelming support, the journey to Abigail's recovery is fraught with financial and emotional challenges for both her and her parents. The family is in desperate need of assistance to cover ongoing medical treatments and rehabilitation. The ordinary living expenses sadly do not go away and also need to be covered. Every contribution of your services, your time, your goods and gifts, gifting assistance with monthly payments or a financial donation - no matter the size, brings Abigail one step closer to reclaiming her life.
Abbey’s future depends on the kindness of people like you. By contributing to her campaign, sharing her story, or offering your services, you can give Abbey a chance to reclaim her life. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference.
This isn’t just a fight for Abbey—it’s a fight for hope, love, and the belief that together we can overcome even the most devastating challenges.
