Help Save a Young Married Couple

My name is Joshua. May and June financially ruined my Wife and I. We had a modest savings of 6k Canadian dollars. That savings was our security, and our lifeline through a very difficult trial moving homes.
Graciously, we have completed our move, but our savings were wiped out, down from 6k to merely 90 dollars, by a combination of extensive hotel bills, moving expenses (storage rental, moving company, food, etc) and the deposits on our new home. To make matters worse, an early-June flooding has ruined my employers below-ground business, and I'm now forced to look for work.
My wife is not Canadian. She will not yet have the right to work until I get her the correct visa. I'm happy to work and provide for her, but, as stated, I'm looking for work and our savings are almost completely gone. Were I to find a job tomorrow, it will take weeks before we recieve our first paycheck. This means we'll be late on our July bills, to say nothing of our need to feed ourselves.
Time is against us, but should you bless us with your support, we will pull through while I secure employment. We would never ask that the public simply replace all of our savings. Moving homes and incurring the occasional loss is simply part of life. I would not ask were our need not so great. We have set the overall goal to be half of our prior savings. This, in conjunction with my next job, will help return us to financial security. The first goal will help us cover our July rent and feed ourselves.
Admittedly, it is difficult for me to ask this of anyone, but homelessness and welfare is something I must resist for the sake of my family's future. I've never used a platform like this, and I pray I'll never need to again. Anyone who helps save my family, regardless of the amount, is profoundly appreciated. In the future, I hope that we too will be in a position where we can do the same for others.
Thank you, truly, from Joshua and Alyssa <3
