A sweet kitty named Gumbo was brought into my clinic today with a urinary obstruction, something that is an emergency and requires immediate intervention. His elderly owner was unable to afford the hospitalization and procedure to unblock him, so had to make the difficult decision to euthanize. Being that he’s only 5, I couldn’t let him go without a fight, so his owner surrendered him to me so that he could have the chance he needs.
Right now, he’s in pain and unable to urinate on his own. Without surgery and hospitalization, his chances of survival are slim. The costs for his treatment are more than I can manage alone, so I really, really need help. Every donation will go directly toward his surgery, hospitalization, and recovery, ensuring he gets the best possible chance at a healthy, happy life.
Please help my coworkers and I save this cat’s life. Anything helps, and we are so grateful for your kindness and support. Thank you for believing in second chances :)
