I am caring for a neonatal stray kitten who was abandoned by his mother because he was too weak and malnourished to compete for milk. After being left behind multiple times, he is now fighting for his life in my care. He is severely underweight, dehydrated, and unable to feed or swallow properly. At only about three days old, he also has conjunctivitis in both eyes, which I have tried to treat with antibiotics and gentle cleaning. Despite my best efforts, he continues to weaken, and I worry that he may only have hours or days left without urgent help.
Every shelter and vet I’ve contacted has told me the only option is to surrender him, but surrendering really means he will likely be euthanised. I can’t give up on him. I am doing everything I can—feeding him formula, giving fluids, and monitoring him closely—but he needs more than I can provide alone. He may require emergency veterinary intervention, IV hydration, medication, and possibly surgery or other critical care to survive.
The funds raised will go directly toward his vet bills, medications, and any supplies he needs to stabilize and recover. I want to invite you to be part of this rescue. This little cat deserves a chance at life, and even a dollar or five could mean everything to him. Thank you for considering helping us give him hope.
