Help save a sick child from Gaza
Donation protected
Hello,
I am Basil Khair El-Din, a journalist and university lecturer from Gaza. I've been working since the beginning of the war to cover the massacres committed against the people of Gaza.
The occupation forces killed members of my family - among which my brother Ahmad - and destroyed my house, my vehicle and my belongings. My family was displaced to several locations, while I remained in northern Gaza, facing hunger, medicine shortages and very difficult conditions.
After 15 months of suffering, I was reunited with my family and children, among whom my sick child, Tim. My child suffers from an unknown syndrome, that made him hard of hearing as of many other health problems. There is no treatment or hospital in the Gaza Strip to monitor his condition.
I still work as a journalist on a daily basis and am exposed to great risks and challenges, but my biggest concern is to provide appropriate treatment for my 3-year-old son, which is not available. He needs a complete genetic examination (W E S) and a cochlear implant surgery (S N H L).
I need your support and help to treat my child and undergo the necessary cochlear implant operation as soon as possible outside the Gaza Strip so that we can live a dignified life and my child Tim can live like other disabled children in the world.
Unfortunately, the doctors say that every day the treatment is delayed, my child loses the opportunity and hope to mature and grow normally like other children. Time is running out.
My innocent child needs your support to travel for treatment and integrate into life away from the danger of death, bombing and lack of food and medicine.
Humanity is calling out to you, so don't delay in extending a helping hand to all those in need. I know you are a human being, and perhaps you know what it means to have a child, and what it means to be deprived of your right for treatment and a decent life... Your contribution could be a solution to a big problem, and save the soul of an innocent child, and I'd be grateful if you could help me with that.
Do what you can, any help counts.
Thank you,
Basil Khair-El-Din
