Help Save a Rescued Dog’s Leg After a Lifetime of Giving

Two years ago, my aunt rescued poundcake from the euthanasia list — giving this sweet soul a second chance at life. Born with severe hip dysplasia, poundcake has faced every challenge with incredible strength and love. But now, she’s facing her biggest battle yet: a fully torn ACL, leaving her leg bone on bone and in constant pain.
Surgery is her only chance at walking and living comfortably again. Unfortunately, the procedure and recovery costs are far beyond what my aunt can afford on her own.
For years, my aunt has been a dedicated volunteer, foster, and networker in her community — the person who always steps up for the dogs no one else will. She’s opened her home to countless animals on the euthanasia list, helped raise funds for medical care, and given her time and love to those most in need. And at this time is now experiencing several severe medical issues herself and had a surgery just a week ago and is now on the road to recovery but still limited on what she can do.
Now, she and poundcake need our help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward surgery, rehabilitation, and follow-up care to give this beautiful rescue the pain-free life she deserves.
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means the world. Together, we can help a rescuer’s rescue finally get her happy ending.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and caring.
Poundcake and my aunt are proof that love can truly save lives — let’s help them continue that story.
