We have achieved our fundraising goal! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Because the fundraising is gaining momentum we are going to continue to accept donations as we begin construction.
Every cent donated will be spent on bringing Mrs. Brown's carriage house up to code. We will be documenting the costs and publishing them here. Our initial fundraising goal will cover the cost to stabilize the structure and set it on a new foundation. It also includes new walls and siding on the first floor and a new set of stairs with railings to access the second story living space. All contractors are working at cost or for free.
If we are able to continue to raise funds we will expand the scope of the construction. This could include painting the house, a new roof, updating plumbing and electric. The sky is the limit!
