Help save Henry a national treasure and my hero!

This is Henry W. Smith... For those not blessed enough to know him, he is a soldier, a patriot, a grandfather to 10 children, father to 4 and a national treasure. For more than 47+ years he has been the Plantation Manager at Ash Lawn Highland (now known as James Monroe's Highland), and therefore responsible for the entire physical appearance of the home of our 4th President of the United States of America. Chances are you have seen his work if you have ever been graced with the beauty of Ash Lawn/James Monroe's Highland, over 100+ acres of pasture and cedar forests, multiple houses and so many events that whether you have a child on a field trip or a senior citizen seeing it for the first time, its a reminder of what our country was and can be. My father is the ultimate caretaker of this national treasure of ours, and it has been his pride and joy to share this with countless Americans of all ages. My father is and always has been a simple farmer at heart and a father first, he has never thought of anyone but others and those he loves. In this day and age however he never 'struck it rich', he never cared to, "that's too fancy for me" he'd say. In this time where he does deserve our thanks please think of him, our country and the treasure he has kept so beautiful for all of us and our future generations. For now Henry needs a heart valve surgery and a spinal surgery that are both long overdue, he also needs a ramp and a wheelchair and visits from healthcare providers at home to keep him out of emergency ICU care. This man is my hero, he is our hero, and represents all that is good in America. Stay blessed and thank you for your consideration and time.
