I’ve been trying to catch up on my mortgage payments. I got a reprieve last year for 3 months but was unable to raise the money to pay that back and have been behind since October last year. I’m asking my friends and family to help me reach my goal of $4000 so I can get ahead of my mortgage debt. Being unemployed last year for 8 months really set me back financially. I relied on unemployment and a small payout from my former employer but it didn’t pay the bills. I applied to multiple companies for a variety of jobs. Then the money ran out and I had to find a job fast. (Thankful for the job I did get at the Ypsi Co-op! )

I am pursuing other avenues to help alleviate my credit card debt, and this would really help me feel secure that I won't lose my house. My mortgage payment went up with an increase in home insurance. But I have an excellent interest rate, so selling it is not really a great option. I promise that every penny that is donated will go directly to my mortgage lender! I really appreciate all of you!
