Please help me save my house. I am on the Autism spectrum and I am about to lose my house. Me and my mother have been in a rent-to-own contract with my landlord since January 2024. The contract expired in January 2025, and we were supposed to re-evaluate the land contract in January. Our landlord has been ghosting us ever since. We have been trying to get in contact with him for several months to renew the contract but with no luck. His girlfriend has not let him talk to me or my mother on the matter. The last time we heard from our landlord was in January, and he stated to me and my mother verbally and by text, promising us that we would not be kicked out of the house as long as we paid the rent on time and paid the property taxes (which we have done both). Everything was okay for a while until July 21st, when we received a letter from our landlord in the mail stating we have to vacate our house within 30 days of receiving the letter unless we purchase the house from him outright. My mother called his realtor the same day we received the letter, and she was told he raised the price of the house an extra $10,000 from the agreement we agreed upon. My mother has already paid him around $16,000 of the $60,000 we agreed upon, and I don’t know what else to do.

I am on the autism spectrum, I have cerebral palsy, ADHD, seizure disorder, and an anxiety disorder.

I have a dog that I am having trained to be my service dog for my anxiety disorder, and I can’t take her with me because she does not have all of her paperwork saying she is certified.

I am at my wits' end and I have gone through multiple options (lawyers, bank loans, etc.) but with no luck.

I only have a very short amount of time to get help before I am forced out of my home I have been living in the past year and a half and I don’t want to leave the house I love.
