My Dads van was stolen from outside of his house, Syston in Leicestershire, 7th May 2025. He is devastated beyond words. The van was later recovered by the police but it is damaged beyond repair. Whilst some of his tools were safe inside his house. Bigger items like ladders and scaffolding were on the Van ready for an early start and these have not been recovered. Whilst the van maybe insured, the other items were not covered for various reasons.

As a self employed worker for over 40 years and with only 5 years of working left until retirement, my dad cannot afford to fund replacing the van and all of the tools/equipment. Without the van and equipment, my father cannot work which will have a devastating impact on the rest of his life.
