Help Me Save a Cat Who Was Left for Dead

This morning, on my way to start the day, I witnessed a cat being hit by a car and was left in the middle of the road. His eyes were open, and he was still breathing. Cars were continuing to pass by, and I knew that if I didn’t stop, he would either suffer alone or be run over again.

I pulled over, scooped him up, and rushed him straight to the animal hospital. At the hospital, they scanned him and found that he was microchipped, but unfortunately there was no owner information linked to it.

With no one else to take responsibility, I made the decision to cover his care so he wouldn’t be turned away. The medical team is doing everything they can to stabilize him, but as the hours go on, the cost of treatment continues to rise.

I’m fully aware that I didn’t have to do this. But I also couldn’t live with myself knowing I left him there to die when I had the ability to help. I believe that if we’re able to ease suffering, even when it’s hard, it matters.

I’m asking for help with his medical bills so he can get the care he needs and a chance at recovery. Any amount (or even just sharing this) truly means more than I can put into words. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping me help him.
