Help Save a Brave Pitbull Puppy

There has been a small pitbull puppy fending for herself in my neighborhood for over a month at least. The first sighting of her that I know about was April 16, 2025. I found out about her on May 21, five weeks later on the neighborhood Facebook group. I tried to find her but couldn’t. Someone else in the neighborhood made flyers alerting the neighborhood that we were trying to catch her and she needs medical treatment. The next day, some good samaritans were able to apprehend her. She did not want to be caught, she does not trust people very much. I got her and took her straight to The vet in case she was contagious, because I have six rescues at home already. The vet thinks she’s allergic to fleas, which she did have even though she hardly has fur. The allergy to fleas left untreated for too long lead to mange and further skin infections on multiple parts of her body.

The vet said she’s 6 months old. It is very impressive to me that a 6 month old puppy survived, fended for herself, and also didn’t end up in the wrong hands… for 5+ weeks.

I have the house for dogs and the fenced in yard for dogs and I have the time and the patience and the love. I don’t have kids I can bring in sick dogs I can handle the mean and scared and weird dogs, but I do not have the money lol.

but the ppl who don’t have the proper conditions and I KNOW probably the money either but the ppl collectively together. If you can give 10 bucks it will help and it literally adds up lol.

I think by the time that her skin condition is cured and the spay and the shots, and factoring in that gofundme takes what 20%? I think 1000 bucks will do it.
