Help Save a Blind Stallion Trapped for 13 Years

Enough to get him out now we need you to help us help him ASAP :

For 13 long years, this stallion has lived in this stable — blind (quite sure he isn’t fully blind) looked away in a tiny stable, with no space to move, no grass under his feet, no freedom, no friends.

He lost his sight around the age of 3 says the man so ever Since then, he’s known nothing but isolation. Forgotten. Unseen. Unloved.

I’ve already rescued two mares from the same place. Now he’s the last one left. And if I don’t take him by May 24th, he will be euthanized.

I can’t let that happen. I know I can help him. But I can’t do it alone.

I want to give him:

• A safe, enclosed pasture where he can finally walk freely

• A gentle, stress-free castration

• Medical care and daily attention to restore his health

• And most of all — the life every horse deserves: to feel the wind, the sun, the earth beneath his hooves, and the presence of others by his side.

I run a small horse sanctuary in Brittany, France, completely on my own. I already care for 8 horses, including one of the rescued mares who is in very poor condition. My days are fully dedicated to them — and I am ready to give this blind soul everything I have.

But without your support, I can’t make this happen.

Please… help me save him.

The owner has decided to put him down this weekend (Saturday, May 10th).

I begged him to wait until Saturday, May 17th, and promised I would come to pick him up.

I’m just trying to give this horse a chance. I have a space for him, but it needs some funding and work to make it safe for him and the other horses.

There’s no way I can take him without your help..

Little 12/06/25 Update I forgot to mention that he isn’t chipped and he doesn’t have a name if you have any ideas for a name for him, surely he also deserves a name once we get him out of there ..

I run the rescue centre on my own, my name is Anna Louise Heron I’m just over 30 and to be honest I’m quite worried as I already have 8 horses at the rescue center two mares from this dreadful place that I decided to bring home to the rescue centre and one of the mares is in a terrible way I’m already way over budget but I can’t give up… And the stallion that is stuck in there on his own now.. I know it will be difficult and that he will need a lot of tlc and that I will have very expensive bills but if you can help me to be able to afford all of this I promise to do everything to get this poor stallion out, I will go straight off to the shops to make a good fencing for him, get him good food a big bale of hay I will get him gelded I promise to look after and help him and do all his paperworks and get him identified and keep up with rescuing horses ❤️ Please help me help him I promised him I would get him out..
