Help Ellie Get The Medical Help She Desperately Needs.
 
I’m raising money to help a lovely dog called Ellie. She was dumped at an old car park with her only surviving puppy — locals said the rest of her litter were killed. She’s covered in painful, open wounds and really needs proper vet care soon.

I came here to volunteer with Happy Tails Sanctuary a few months ago. On top of all the sanctuary do for their own animals, nearly 100 cats and dogs, they also care for around 35 street dogs nearby. This includes 22 stray dogs who live at the derelict parking lot, hence why we’ve named them the Barking Lot. Some of them came together, some come alone, many are abandoned, but they’ve all made it their home.

We feed them every day and do what we can to keep the place safe, but there’s no consistent support beyond the volunteers and a local lady. Right now, Ellie needs help the most. She’s such a gentle, loving dog, still trying to care for her pup despite everything she’s been through.  

I’m hoping to raise £400 to cover:
- Vet treatment and medication for Ellie
- Food for the Barking Lot dogs
- Cleaning supplies and basic care items If we manage to raise more, any extra will go towards de-fleaing, worming, and spaying/neutering the other dogs we look after through Happy Tails.
