My name is Melita, founder of Melita's Dream Animal Rescue 501C3, EIN 87-1440795. and I recently rescued eight wonderful dogs from a local shelter just minutes before they were scheduled to be euthanized. I couldn’t bear the thought of these sweet souls losing their lives simply because they hadn’t found a home in time. With no fosters or adopters available, I made the decision to step in and give them a second chance, even though it meant taking on a big responsibility.

Right now, all eight dogs are safe in boarding, but the costs are adding up quickly. Every day, I’m working hard to provide them with food, care, and a safe place to stay while I search for loving families to adopt them. I’m organizing adoption events and reaching out to my network in hopes of finding each dog a forever home. Until then, I need help covering their boarding and care expenses so they can continue to be safe and healthy.
