Help 80 rescue cats get shed with air conditioning
Donation protected
UPDATE thanks to all your love & support for all these precious deserving cats we met our goal for the cat fence now comes the next step which is to get these cats a building with air conditioning that will connect to the cat fence/yard but will provide them with heat & air, so it’s very needed. We added the cost for the cat building to the cat fence amount you all already got done for our sanctuary. The new amount also covers an air conditioner, and other items they need for the bus & yard. We appreciate this as you make it possible for us to help these sweet babies in need. At first we thought about building a new shed but it would be too much money, then God pointed me in a better direction & so we decided to turn the big yellow bus that is next to the white bus & catio they are currently into the building with air conditioning & heat. It will cost less as it’s already a building, we just need to wall in & insulate the inside & add a walkway connecting the other bus. So now instead of our total amount to get donations for being $7000 it is now brought down to $5300❤️
Hi my name is Christen. I have a cat rescue/sanctuary with currently 71 cats & kittens. We are in the process of becoming 501 c3 status. They are all rescues that live out their lives on our 7 acres. We try to make it a cat heaven. They get to climb trees, chase birds, all things cats love. Sadly we recently lost 5 of our cats due to a toxin they got into. We thought our property was clear but with everything coming into bloom, the fact our sanctuary is in the country with farmland that farmers are spraying toxins on, and the fact a few of our cats ended up leaving our property, which has never happened in over 3 years, they found dangers and lost their lives because of it. There is also the possibility someone is coming to the fence and feeding them poison as after our 5th death we seen 8 empty cat food cans, some the brand we don’t use along our fence. I believed our cats were safe but I was wrong but I have a plan now, a plan I never thought I could pull off and I can’t on my own but with your help and love for these cats it can be done. By adding a cat fence to our whole 7 acres , or a section as we are desperate at this point, we can save the lives of our 71 remaining cats, more if we end up having to rescue, I’m determined to not let Garfield, Arlo, Abraxas , Mews & Percy have died in vain. The cat fence is a special fence with an overhang they can’t climb over. If we can possibly surround our whole 7 acres we let them be able to still go to all the places they love, like to the pond to scare frogs, it will save them from predators, getting ran over from cars, from any toxins/poisoning as I’m getting rid of anything that even is suspicious on our property itself. Lots of people think cats have to be indoors to be safe, normally I would agree, but since this is a cat sanctuary I’m determined to give these guys the best of everything. You can’t have 71 cats locked up in small spaces and expect them to be happy. This fence will also open up the opportunity to rescue more cats if needed. I’ve estimated that if everyone of our TikTok followers donate $5 each we can make this happen for these sweet deserving furr babies. Don’t do this for me, do it for them. Be a part of something great in these cats lives. They need your help desperately, we can finally have a true cat sanctuary free from a lot of worries and dangers. If by chance we reach our goal and there is any money left over that money will go to vet bills, food, litter, vaccines, flea & tick meds, wormer, heart worm prevention, anything else they need. Maybe even a little could go to rehab on their cat shed and cat bus, or turn our current awning into a new cat shed which is also greatly needed. We appreciate you all God bless you for helping these babies where I can’t. It truly means everything. Follow our TikTok to see the faces of those you are helping by donating❤️ We have to take action before others are lost, and we can all prove that a place where cats can be safe outside can exist, be a part of this amazing thing for these cats. Show them they are loved. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and theirs❤️
