Im raising funds because we have 60 days to potentially save this 5yr old boys life by getting him treatment in USA. 

 Unfortunately a few months before Teddy’s 5th Birthday he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of medulloblastoma, pediatric brain cancer. After a CT scan We was given the devastating news that Teddy needed emergency brain surgery for a mass, in the back of his brain, and after what felt like a very long wait, for pathology we was told he had metatastic brain cancer. Medulloblastoma grade 4 with MYC amplification large cell anaplastic. one of the worst most aggressive forms of pediatric brain cancer, and it had already extensively spread throughout his spine, brain and CSF fluid. 

 A Chance for Hope in the USA 

 That’s why we’re fundraising to take Teddy to the United States to join a new trial using DFMO drugs to treat high-risk Medulloblastoma. It’s a two-year programme at Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania and has shown promising results in helping children with high-risk cancers like Teddy’s stay in remission. He’s already been accepted on a preliminary basis that his scans stay stable…however our only barrier now is funding. 

 The total cost — including medical treatment, ongoing tests and scans, travel, insurances and accommodation — is estimated to be at least £200,000. We only have 60days left for Teddy to be allowed into the trial. Once 60 days is up unfortunately this won’t be available to Teddy anymore. If his cancer relapses it is likely that he will not survive.
