Help save 5 year old Ayan's life from Leukaemia

Ayan is 5-year-old boy and unfortunately last month he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid  Leukaemia. He is from Chittagong and due his health deteriorating suddenly with infections he was admitted temporarily to a public hospital there. The doctors there advised that he needs to start chemotherapy immediately and his treatment is best in the capital city Dhaka or even going further out to hospitals in India. Recently, once Ayan regained strength his family moved him to a hospital in Dhaka and doctors began chemotherapy treatment. His doctors have drawn up an urgent treatment plan which can involve a total of 2 years or more of chemotherapy,  medications and curative bone marrow transplant. With chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant  the chances of survival are better but the outcome is case by case. 

With everyone’s kind donation and support Ayan’s chemotherapy has thankfully begun. Ayan’s family  are planning to take him to Calcutta, India for further chemotherapy, and life saving bone marrow transplant. So far, the total cost of treatment is looking to be approximately £20,000-30,000 depending on how he reacts to the treatment and whether he reaches remission. Ayan's father works as a chef in a small village outside Chittagong and his mother does not work. They have a 2-month-old baby girl who is also unwell and due to this, Ayan’s mother is unable to be by her sons side. You can imagine how difficult times are for this family.
