Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help.
My name is Seriam, and I live in London. I am raising funds for my uncle's 3-year-old daughter, Junaica Justino Mendes Batito, lives in Guinea-Bissau and has recently been diagnosed with a tumor in her eye. She is a bright, joyful little girl who deserves a chance to grow up healthy and see the world clearly-but her life has taken a frightening turn.
Doctors in Guinea-Bissau do not have the resources or facilities to provide the urgent and specialized care she needs. After many consultations, we have found that treatment is available in Portugal, but the cost of travel, medical care, and accommodation is far beyond what her family can afford.
We are trying to raise £25,000 to cover:
• Travel expenses from Guinea-Bissau to Portugal
• Medical consultations, scans, and treatments
• Surgery or specialist care for her eye
• Visas, passports, and legal documents
• Accommodation and basic living costs in Portugal
• Any emergency or unexpected medical expenses
Time is critical. The longer we wait, the more we risk losing her vision-or even more. With your help, we can get her to Portugal and give her a real chance at a healthy, bright future.
No amount is too small. Even if you can't donate, sharing this with your friends and community means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With hope,
Seriam
