Our beloved Bikash Khanal, only 22 years old, is bravely fighting a rare cancer called epithelioid sarcoma.

Earlier this year, Bikash began suffering from severe pain between his throat and shoulder. Despite undergoing surgery in Kathmandu, the pain continued. Later, doctors confirmed the heartbreaking diagnosis of cancer. He is now under treatment at BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Chitwan.

The good news is that the cancer has not spread inside his body. Bikash has already completed his first chemotherapy cycle with four doses. But his doctors have advised that he will need more chemotherapy and ongoing treatment to fully recover.

Bikash comes from a very poor family who are struggling even to manage daily expenses. The heavy cost of cancer treatment has left them in deep financial and emotional crisis.
