Hi everyone, I’m Ruel, born and raised in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, one of the communities hit hardest by the Melissa disaster. It’s painful to see the place I call home suffering so deeply. I started this fundraiser because I believe that together, we can help bring hope, relief, and strength back to Jamaica.

In the wake of Tropical Storm Melissa's devastating effects, countless families across Jamaica are facing unimaginable loss. Homes have been destroyed, roads and communities flooded, and many are left without necessities like food, clean water, and shelter.

Jamaica is known for its resilience and unity, but this disaster has stretched resources to the limit. Entire communities need immediate help to rebuild and recover.

This fundraiser aims to provide broad community support, including food, clean water, medical supplies, rebuilding materials, and assistance for local schools and shelters. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring hope, comfort, and stability to those in urgent need.
