Hi, my name is Savannah, and I’m a mom to two young boys who I’m doing everything I can to provide for. Right now, my family is facing serious financial hardship. Our rent recently increased, and it has become very difficult to keep up while also covering food, transportation, and basic necessities. On top of that, we have an outstanding National Grid utility balance, and our service was recently shut off, which has made our situation even more urgent. I am currently applying for DSS assistance and working a part-time job while actively searching for more affordable housing. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but I need help bridging the gap during this difficult transition.Because of this, I’ve made the difficult decision to move my family into more affordable housing. Before I can do that, I need help covering the costs that are currently preventing us from stabilizing.

Funds will go toward paying my remaining rent balance, paying off our National Grid utility balance and restoring service, security deposit and first month’s rent for a new home, utility deposits and connection fees, and basic moving expenses. I am working and doing everything I can to improve my situation, but I need help getting through this temporary crisis so my children and I can remain safely housed and stable.
