Savannah is fighting to get her life back, and we have a real chance to help her. Hi, my name is IL Kim, and I’m raising funds for my close friend Savannah, the wife of one of my best friends, Alex. I’ve known them both for over 20 years, and they are the kind of people who always show up for others. Now they need our help.

For the past few years, Savannah has been battling chronic Lyme disease, and her condition has progressively worsened. This illness has affected her in ways that are hard to fully describe. She has lost her hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows, and suffers from deep, painful cracks in her hands and feet, along with skin lesions, severe sensitivities, joint pain, trouble breathing, insomnia, and overwhelming mental and physical fatigue. Even basic, everyday tasks have become difficult. Because of this, Savannah had to leave her nursing career, a job she loved. Chronic Lyme disease is not covered by health insurance, and the cost of care has become overwhelming.

There is hope. She has been accepted into a specialized treatment center in Tennessee that has helped many people regain their health and return to normal life, but the cost of treatment, travel, and follow-up care is significant. Savannah wants nothing more than to return to work, raise her daughter, support her son in the military, and be the wife and mother she strives to be. This treatment could give her that chance.
