My name is Savannah. I have been given an amazing opportunity to do my Masters in Neuroscience abroad. It has been my dream to work in healthcare, because I genuinely want to make a difference for persons with diseases and disabilities. One way I believe this can be achieved is through advocacy in research and better collaboration across the healthcare spectrum. This educational opportunity represents to me a chance to work towards this, and to branch from kinesiology into neuroscience—a topic I have grown really passionate about through my work with vulnerable populations (i.e. refugees, Parkinson’s disease patients, and persons with mental illnesses).

I have saved enough money to cover my tuition for the first two semesters, and some of my living expenses. However, my world has been turned around in the last few months, leaving me with some financial barricades. I am set to begin my studies on August 25th. I am in desperate need of help in getting to where I have worked so hard to be. I am grateful for any contribution you are able to make.
