My name is Elizabeth Bacskay, I’m an American citizen and I work with one of the most incredibly humble and wonderful women I’ve ever met. Her name is Savana Williams. She is here in the US on a work visa from the island of Jamaica. Back home in Jamaica are her 4 amazing children who are sacrificing their mother being in our country so that they don’t have to live in poverty. Just as Savana was getting settled and providing funds to her family to make her children’s life better, a category 5 hurricane ripped through Jamaica, leaving destruction in its path. Savana’s mother is graciously caring for her children so that she can provide them all a better life. But, the overwhelming need to rebuild is more than this young mother can do alone!

We as Americans don’t know how fortunate we are when disaster strikes. And that’s the reason for putting up this GoFundMe page! No matter how much or how little you can donate will show Savana that God has put her in the right place! Behind her smile are endless tears.
