I’m raising funds for Savage Tiki Bar, my own business and a local, low-cost neighborhood dive bar that I’ve worked hard to make into a safe, welcoming space for everyone. Recently, our landlord asked us to remove the previous owner’s sign for Kanakas Tiki Bar and replace it with one of our own. To do that, we need to install a new lighted sign that simply says Tiki Bar, large enough to be seen clearly from the street.

This new sign would make a real difference for us. Right now, better visibility is important so people in the neighborhood can find us more easily, and so new customers know we’re here. The cost of designing and installing a lit sign is high, around $3,500, but if we can raise $2,000, our business can cover the rest and have the sign up within a month.
