**Help KK’s Sunshine Diner Rise Again ☀️**

KK’s Sunshine Diner was built on a simple dream — a warm place where people could come together, enjoy homemade food, and feel like part of a community. From the very beginning, this journey has not been easy. Like many small family-run businesses, we faced obstacle after obstacle just trying to open our doors.

Recently we experienced a devastating loss that has set us back once again. While the building itself was insured, unfortunately the contents of the diner were not covered. That means much of the equipment, supplies, and items we worked so hard to build our business with are now gone.

We know some people may wonder how this could happen. The truth is, after waiting so long just to open our doors the first time, we focused everything we had on getting the diner running and serving the community. We fully planned to expand our insurance coverage once we stabilized — but we simply ran out of time. So unfortunately we only had building insurance.

Right now our goal is not to give up. Our goal is to rebuild.

KK’s Sunshine Diner has always been about more than just food. It’s a place where families stop in for breakfast, friends catch up over coffee, and neighbors feel welcome. It’s about the kids who come in for treats in the summer and the regulars who walk through the door every morning.

We are asking for help so we can keep this dream alive.

Funds raised will help us:

• Replace essential equipment and supplies

• Keep up with rent while we rebuild

• Explore temporary options such as a food truck, hotdog cart, or shared commercial kitchen so we can continue serving the community
