My name is Pitu Sim, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent and heartfelt plea. Two of my dearest friends, Saumya Gupta and Maya Mangels, recently achieved their dream of homeownership in the Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. Tragically, just as they were beginning to settle into their new home, it was destroyed by the LA wildfires this month.
