Introduction:

On Monday, August 14th, Saulo and Tatiana's lives took an unexpected turn when they were involved in a life-altering motorcycle accident. The incident involved a collision with another motorcycle and left them with severe injuries which will impact their lives forever. Both are in need of significant medical assistance going forward and have a long road ahead to recovery. Please consider praying for them during this difficult time. Any donation you can offer would be a huge blessing to them!

Their Injuries:

Both suffered serious injuries from the accident, although Saulo took the brunt of it. Tatiana’s knee ripped open, she broke her ankle and fibula, and nearly lost her foot. Saulo suffered worse. His face was torn up, he lost several teeth, broke his jaw, and his leg was badly injured with 7 exposed fractures. They were both rushed to a local hospital and then eventually sent to separate facilities. Saulo's condition was critical and went into cardiopulmonary arrest for 6 minutes due to substantial blood loss, requiring a grueling 6-hour surgery to save his life and salvage his leg from potential amputation. Tatiana received an initial surgery on her ankle and knee.

Miraculous Progress:

Praise God that He preserved their lives! Saulo survived his surgery and has been transferred to the ICU for careful monitoring. Tatiana is recovering at home now with another surgery scheduled for next month, however she is struggling as she is not able to visit her husband while he is in the ICU. Saulo lost so much blood that his kidneys nearly failed and they weren’t sure his leg would recover enough for saving. But by the grace of God, his leg is showing positive signs of healing, and his kidneys are functioning once again. Currently he is still sedated and intubated as he awaits more surgery. Please pray for continued healing and for each of their bodies and hearts during this time of so much uncertainty.

Need for Support:

To know Tatiana and Saulo is to know contagious laughter and adventure. They share a passion for good food and play a crucial part in the family’s pizza business. They faithfully lead worship together at church. They bring playfulness and joy to the lives of those around them. The road ahead of them will be long and full of unknowns. Please consider donating towards their medical expenses which includes new teeth for Saulo, physical and ocupational therapy for them both, and other medical supplies needed for recovery that are not covered by insurance. Any excess funding will also go to supporting them over the next several months while Saulo is unable to work and Tatiana's earning capacity is limited while she is unable to fulfill her complete job responsibilities. El lunes 14 de agosto las vidas de Saulo y Tatiana dieron un giro inesperado cuando se vieron envueltos en un accidente de motocicleta que les cambió la vida. El incidente involucró una colisión con otra motocicleta y los dejó con lesiones graves que afectarán sus vidas para siempre. Ambos necesitan asistencia médica significativa en el futuro y tienen un largo camino por recorrer para recuperarse. Sus lesiones:

Ambos sufrieron heridas graves por el accidente, aunque Saulo se llevó la peor parte. La piel en la rodilla de Tatiana se desgarró, se rompió el tobillo y el peroné y casi pierde el pie. Saulo sufrió peor. Su rostro está bastante afectado y desgarrado, perdió varios dientes, se rompió la mandíbula y su pierna resultó gravemente herida con 7 fracturas expuestas. Ambos fueron trasladados de urgencia a un hospital local y luego, finalmente, enviados a diferentes hospitales. La condición de Saulo era crítica y sufrió un paro cardio pulmonar durante 6 minutos debido a una pérdida sustancial de sangre, lo que requirió una cirugía agotadora de 6 horas para salvar su vida y salvar su pierna de una posible amputación. Tatiana recibió una cirugía inicial en el tobillo y suturas en la rodilla.

Progreso milagroso:

¡Alabado sea Dios porque Él preservó sus vidas! Saulo sobrevivió a su cirugía y fue trasladado a la UCI para un control cuidadoso. Tatiana se está recuperando en casa ahora con otra cirugía programada para el próximo mes, sin embargo, está luchando porque no puede visitar a su esposo mientras está en la UCI. Saulo perdió tanta sangre que sus riñones comenzaron a fallar y no estaban seguros de que su pierna se recuperaría lo suficiente como para salvarla. Pero por la gracia de Dios, su pierna muestra signos positivos de recuperación y sus riñones están funcionando nuevamente. Actualmente, todavía está sedado e intubado mientras espera más cirugías. Por favor, oren por la sanación continua y por cada uno de sus cuerpos y corazones durante este tiempo de tanta incertidumbre.

Conocer a Tatiana y Saulo es conocer risas contagiosas y aventuras. Comparten la pasión por la buena comida y juegan un papel crucial en el negocio de pizzas de la familia. Dirigen fielmente la alabanza juntos en la iglesia. Aportan diversión y alegría a la vida de quienes los rodean. El camino que les espera será largo y lleno de incógnitas.
