We are looking for support to help my father-in-law in rural Michoacan, Mexico, who is suffering side effects from diabetes which has largely gone untreated due to poverty. He has severe lymphedema in his foot which has caused the foot itself to become crippled, he can no longer wear a normal shoe, and it has made working nearly impossible for him. Right now his foot is really infected and he needs urgent medical care. Medical care is very expensive in Mexico and quality, ongoing diabetes care has been completely unattainable for him and his family. Treatment is refused in Mexico if you cannot pay.

My father-in-law is a hardworking, quiet, thoughtful man who normally sells fruit and other foods from his motorbike stand in his small town and nearby towns. He loves his family (he is a father of 10 and also is raising his adopted son who is 7). He loves dancing and is a kind person. Please help us get him the medical support he desperately needs. He is suffering greatly.
