At just 29 years old and 4 day before her wedding, Satyn was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - Breast Cancer.

In early March, Satyn went to the doctor after noticing a couple of irregularities. A biopsy was scheduled for March 14th. On Monday, March 20th, the doctors confirmed it was cancer and more details would come the following week.

A ray of sunshine named Sam Reynolds then had all of her focus as they tied the knot on Friday the 24th and spent Saturday at Disney - a much needed gift from her loved ones.

After a beautiful weekend, Monday the 27th was spent in back to back doctors appointments full of all of the overwhelming news of what is to come. Several months of chemo leading up to surgery at a minimum with more to follow depending on the success of the first round of treatments.

Last year, Satyn has taken full custody of her nephew, now brother to her already little one at home.

As you can imagine, medical bills have already begun piling up on top of the wedding and adoption expenses.
