Saturn has been my constant companion for the past two years, ever since I adopted her during one of the most difficult periods of my life. As an amputee cat, Saturn has always shown incredible resilience and spirit. She means the world to me.

A few days ago, Saturn suffered a dislocated shoulder. After an emergency vet visit, I learned she would need ongoing care from an orthopedic specialist. The vet explained that Saturn’s recovery would require weekly cast and bandage changes, regular splint adjustments, and constant pain management. On top of that, she’s developed Horner’s syndrome as a result of her injury, and her mobility is now completely gone. Because Saturn can’t move around on her own, I have to be with her constantly to help her eat, drink, and use the bathroom. It’s been heartbreaking to see her so frustrated and down, especially since she’s always been so independent despite her amputation.

I’m raising funds to cover Saturn’s weekly vet checkups, prescription refills, and cast changes. The hope is that she’ll recover in about a month, but if her shoulder doesn’t heal properly, she may need surgery. Any support will go directly toward her medical care and help give Saturn the best chance at regaining her mobility and spirit.
