Help Satoe Pay For Her University and Visa Fees

Hello! I am Satoe Tohi from Japan. I was born and raised in Thailand, and I recently graduated from a United World College school in Armenia called UWC Dilijan, on May 18th 2024. Throughout my two year journey, I have been an active member of the community by co-directing two major musicals such as Into the Woods and Hadestown, and contributing to an award winning environmental NGO COMBILI as a core member, to make a difference in Armenia's waste management and culture of sustainability.

I am sincerely reaching out to you by creating this fundraiser to help support my tuition for university. I applied and have gotten an acceptance to Lake Forest College with a generous scholarship. However, the scholarship is not full, and I am still obligated to pay approximately 1000 USD every year for the rest of the tuition.

As some of you may know already, due to some complications with my family, they had cut ties with me and had taken away all of my financial resources including my personal bank accounts. I am currently in desperate need for funds to help cover my tuition fee, the 350 USD Sevis fee, and the 185 USD visa appointment interview fee. I have to show the American embassy, as soon as possible, that I have 1000 USD in my bank account to get the US visa. In addition to that, I would need funds to support myself the first semester in university and during the summer previous to the start of my school. All funds raised will go to my Ameria bank account, to which only I have access to.

At Lake Forest, I will get an on campus job to keep supporting my own tuition for the following years and take every opportunity that I can get, but for now, I need your support.
