Satie is my sister’s 3-year-old pug, and he’s been a beloved part of our family since Maddy and Jonathan adopted him two years ago. He came to them when a family friend could no longer keep him, and he’s brought so much joy and laughter into their lives. Unfortunately, Satie is now facing some serious health challenges. He’s been diagnosed with pneumonia, brain swelling, and corneal lesions, and the cost of his care is overwhelming. The MRI to diagnose his condition was a major expense, and that’s only the beginning of what he needs.
Maddy is a student, and Jonathan is a professional musician. They love Satie deeply and want to give him the best care possible, but the vet bills are adding up fast. It’s a lot for one family to handle, especially when money is already tight.
I know times are tough for everyone, but I’m hoping that friends, family, and kind strangers might be able to help—even if it’s just a few dollars. Maybe you could skip a cup of coffee this week and put that toward helping Satie get the care he needs. Every little bit truly counts, and your support would mean the world to Maddy, Jonathan, and our whole family. Thank you so much for considering a donation to help Satie heal. And though I make fun of his goofy face and complain about his snoring/strange breathing, he is such a sweetie and deserves the best care possible.
He likes to learn…
…And gets bored when he’s not the center of attention…
…And is very hard to make eye contact with…but we love him nonetheless
