Help Sati in a time of need

My name is Tim Shaver and I’m fundraising for a friend and coworker who is in a tough spot through no fault of her own. My friend Sati Cherbechyan has been working with us here at Target for about 4 years. Sati is from Armenia and came to the US for college and is here now on a work authorization. That work authorization has to be renewed every two years and the process has been delayed massively by the pandemic. Sati applied for renewal last February and a process that should have been completed in a few months has now almost hit a year. After her extension ran out last October she has not been allowed to work and has been on an unpaid LOA for almost 3 months now.

Sati is a proud woman and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever met. She has done some odd jobs for money and reluctantly taken a few loans from friends but she could still use our help. If anyone is able to contribute to help her with normal daily expenses while she waits for her authorization to finally come through it would be a great help.
