Hi, my name is Jen and I am starting this gofundme to help my really good friend Sassy.

Sassy has Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, which leaves her immunocompromised. She has been unemployed due to the pandemic, and has had no income since September 4 when PUA ended. She is unable to pay her bills for October. She has been searching for employment, and was supposed to start a new job this week. Unfortunately, even though she is fully vaccinated and wears a mask diligently, she was diagnosed with Covid-19 and will not be able to start her new job this week and is not sure if they will hold the position for her.

Sassy is a very hard worker, sometimes working two jobs at one time. She just needs a little help to get through until she recovers from Covid. She has no family to help her out of this difficult situation. Her greatest fear is that Covid may cause her lupus to flare and bring her out of remission. Flareups are severe, and she was just recovering from her last one when Covid hit.

Sassy would never ask for help herself, but she is always the first one to offer help to anyone in need. She is one of the kindest people I have ever known, and it breaks my heart to see her struggling. That is why I have stepped in to try to get her some much needed help.

I am asking to raise $5,000 because I believe that will get her through the next couple of months rent and expenses, and give her time to start a new job. I realize that there are a lot of people finding themselves in her position, but if you are able to help, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
