Hello everyone, I want to start off by saying if you found this, you’ve also found compassion for a complete stranger and I’m proud of you, especially in the climate we currently live in today. My aunt Sassy recently fell on ice while walking her dog down wooded trails at her home and broken her leg…she had forgotten her phone and crawled 1/8 of a mile back to call for help. However, even after I got her she wanted to refuse treatment for fear of receiving insanely high medical bills…this sweet soul really debated with her own welfare vs taking care of me with a small inheritance later on. I do not care about money…I do care about her greatly. This woman is the kindest soul, a (recently) walking angel and my hero…we’ve received such positive out pour and well wishes, which is more than anyone can ask of and we are so thankful for it. Several suggested we start a gofundme to help ease her thoughts and worry…I want to be clear, we do not expect anything, the positive support has been enough kindness, more than anyone can ask for, however if you feel inclined to donate please feel free to do so. She would be forever grateful, as she’s already blown away by complete strangers caring about her at all

A little medical update: she has broken her leg/foot in 3 places and dislocated her ankle. We just got done popping her ankle back, bless her heart she took it like a champ at 70 years old. We’re expecting to do surgery hopefully tomorrow, and get her back to my home for the next few months of recovery. Yes, her dog buddy will be there waiting for her excitedly impatient, hoping for another walk lol
