Sassy is a wonderful person I have the privilege of caring for as her home health provider. She relies on her wheelchair to move around, as she is unable to walk or get around on her own. Unfortunately, her current wheelchair is over 12 years old and no longer meets her needs. This makes it difficult for her to get to important medical appointments and take care of her daily activities. As someone who sees her challenges firsthand, I know how much a new wheelchair would mean to her.
Beyond her physical needs, Sassy also struggles with anxiety and depression. Being able to get out of the house from time to time is so important for her emotional well-being. A new wheelchair would not only help her stay safe and comfortable, but it would also give her the freedom to participate in activities that bring her joy and help her feel connected to the world around her.
Every little bit counts, and I would be more than grateful for any help you can give. Making Sassy smile would bring joy to my heart. She has really needed a new wheelchair, but due to budget constraints, it’s been hard. Let’s make Sassy smile—the support of each and every one of you will always be appreciated.
