The last few days have been challenging, to say the least. Our world is rocked by the news of the horrific, brutal, and senseless murder of our loved one - Sashana Shaw. She is a mother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend who was truly loved. I write this in the present tense because it is difficult for us as a family to believe that this is real... but, sadly it is.

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, our family received the news that Shawna (the name we called her) was brutally chopped to death and her body practically dumped by her ex-boyfriend.

Now, as we prepare to bury our loved one, we ask for your help to not only take care of the funeral expenses but also to provide support for her three children who are now without a mother. Your kindness will help to provide for the daily needs of these children who witnessed most of this tragic event and showed bravery and loyalty to their mom in her final moments. Please pray for them, her father, brothers, sisters, and the rest of the family grieving this loss.
