TRANS HOUSING & SURVIVAL FOR @SASHAFORESTS

This is Sasha.

I'm scheduled for an important Gender affirming surgery this November.

I have been unemployed for over six months. I went from being employed x2 to being wrongfully fired for being trans and asking for a livable wage and abandoned by a business partner who I was working for at any drop of a hat.

I am now being evicted, and fighting it.

During this time, I've managed to produce a staged reading of my own work, apply for multiple screenwriting opportunities and mentorships, and now applying to grad school. My own business, Forests Medicinals, is still at play. I'm whittling down the concept to make a reasonable and attainable financial ask.

But I do not have it all figured out yet. I am still seeking work, but chronically unemployed and have gone through further disappointments and setbacks since this time of crisis began. There are some possible avenues to move forward, and I'm pursuing them all.

Right now, I still need help with back rent and a way forward. Please share any mutual aid you can. I am not giving up.
